How To: Clean up puppy diarrhea out of your white carpet =[

Good Morning Readers!!

    This morning we woke up to quite the mess in our hallway, and one sick puppy.

Although i'm fairly sure we've got the sick puppy bit taken care of, there still remains one giant stinky mess in our hallway.

Allow me to enlighten you

yeah.

So Since this is not our first rodeo with puppy diarrhea, we know all about cleaning it up and making our carpets pretty, and stink free again. And if youre in the same dilemma and need some advice..well were here for you=]

What you'll Need:

-oxi-clean powder

(i use the off brand, its called Sun..buy it at dollar general for about 3 bucks..works just as well)

-A spray bottle with warm water

- A scrubbing brush

(i used an old nail brush that i found under the bathroom sink, nothing fancy)

-A Carpet Shampooer is nice 

although before i got mine i would just use a scrubbing brush, and shop vac. works just as well just a little bit more elbow grease

(Thats not mean green in the bottle..just warm water)

Lets Get started on our poop cleaning festivities

First I Went all down the hallway and sprinkled the oxyclean powder on every stain, completely covering them

Next, I Took my warm water and squirted each spot of oxyclean generously until is was pasty

Then i took my old nail brush, and got down on all fours and scrubbed each spot just a little

Be sure not to scrub to much in order to keep from smearing the stain onto more of the carpet...scrub just enough to get the oxyclean deep into the fibers of your carpet

And if you really want to know what i did next, i took of all of my clothes and got into the shower=] haha no but really let it sit for about 30 minutes...

Lastly i took and i got out my carpet shampooer

and i set it to water rinse only

and i used the handheld scrubbing tool and just pretty much soaked the area in water, and sucked everything right out of the carpet.

After all this fun my carpets were almost brand new again..the only thing i had left to do was wait for them to dry and vaccum, because sometimes the oxyclean powder leaves a little bit of a powdery residue on the floor, but is very simple to vaccum right out..

AND WALAAH! carpets smell, and look clean...dog feels better, Now its time to Have a great day.
